Reporting directly to the Technical Director, the Drupal Engineer is responsible for all aspects of our CMS including HTML/CSS styling, module development, R&D and content-type design.


The successful candidate will work closely with the

  • DevOps Team to ensure timely delivery of a stable, high-quality releases.
  • Design Team to craft awesome user experiences within Drupal
  • Product Owners to ensure our CMS remains well-structured, easy-to-use and performant.


  • Manage our multi-site environment across six countries;
  • Work closely with the Design Team to optimize our multi-site theme;
  • Design and implement new CMS-specific features e.g. Webforms;
  • Take ownership of our Drupal environment and design a set of company-wide best-practices for structured content;
  • Engage in R&D work e.g. “Headless CMS” and REST-based webhook integrations with third-party platforms;
  • Manage our multi-site configuration across all countries;
  • Pro-actively identify and drive platform improvements.


We require an experienced, no-nonsense, hands-on Senior Drupal Engineer. We are looking for the following qualifications and skills;

  • Drupal 8 experience is best. Candidates with only Drupal 7 (and earlier) experience will be Page 1 of 2 considered.
  • Experience with multi-site configurations.
  • A clear understanding of Drupal internals, e.g how Entities, Views and Nodes relate to each other. 
  • Front-end development experience using Javascript , HTML and CSS
  • Experience and understanding of the PHP Symphony framework.
  • Experience implementing Drupal 8 as a headless CMS will strongly count in your favour
  • Familiarity and experience with containerized Drupal (Docker) is a plus
  • Familiarity in working with Drupal development as part of a standardized “agile” workflow including Git, continuous-integration and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of webserver integrations with Apache and NginX.
