Requirements

  •  Min 4 years relevant working experience as a legal secretary in a foreign law firm 
  • Min GCE 'O' level or Diploma
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Able to provide secretarial support to at least four lawyers and have previous experience working for a Partner/s

Key responsibilities

  •  Provide secretarial support for Partners, lawyers and managers.
  • Typing of legal documentation, PowerPoint presentation, spreadsheets including preparing for signing and closing of transactions. Training will be provided to ensure that you have the required skills.
  • Preparation of bills, opening of matter/files
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Screening phone calls and taking messages for fee-earners (lawyers).
  • Monitoring incoming/outgoing mails and faxes regularly.
  • Filing of all papers/emails/documents.
  • Arranging for closed files for storage.
  • Providing cover for other secretaries (in cases of sickness and holiday), weekend duty (on roster).
  • Providing support for company events, function and marketing work.
  • Provide cover for reception duty (in cases of sickness and holiday).
