Strategic Consulting Director

A need has arisen for a senior Consulting professional to join our operations to help support the growth across the Hong Kong market. This new created position will provide a proven specialist the opportunity to grow their career in a multi-national environment.


Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):


  • Promote and assist the department to ensure professional service and delivery.
  • Undertaking reporting, analysis, research and provide/report development advice via deliverables.
  • Understand and report based on all property categories with a specific focus on retail.
  • Assess the impact of major developments in terms of economic and environmental.
  • Inspect sites at all stages of development, from green field to foundations and completed buildings.
  • Undertake, lead and deliver:
  1. Highest and Best Use, market, feasibility, research reports, residual valuations, cashflow and forecast analyses, planning and development requirements.
  2. Understanding IRR, GDV and NPV analysis and implications.
  3. Preparation of marketing material and producing reports(and/or PPT) for internal and external (client) use.
  4. Collating property specific data; both market and factual/actual property information.
  5. Provide advice and recommendations to clients relating to relevant retail market norms and trends and tenant mix.
  6. Conduct, analyse, report and deliver primary and secondary market research.
  7. Strong business development skills and the ability to identify opportunities and build relationships.
  8. Act diligently and maintain comprehensive records for all work undertaken in accordance with Colliers Quality Assurance policy.

 

Required Qualification, Skills and Attributes:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a property/real estate focus.
  • Deep understanding of the commercial real estate market in Hong Kong and China.
  • Have an understanding and clear ability to exercise due diligence and apply this to the daily role.
  • Presentable individual with a willingness to deliver and pass on knowledge and experience.
  • Produce and deliver detailed financial models with associated analysis and explanation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
  • Willingness to travel around ‘The Greater Bay Area’ and mainland China.
  • High focus on exceeding market norms as well as client’s expectations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a property/real estate focus.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
