Learning & Development Program Manager

Responsibilities

 

  • Partnering – work closely with the Global Program managers to get learning initiatives successfully delivered in APAC
  • Planning – work with L&D consultants and Global Program Managers to understand the work required and build successful capacity planning
  • Data and measurement - Assess effectiveness of training, produce insights for L&D team and help communicate these outcomes to the business and our partners
  • Partnerships – manage the relationship with our external administration partner and our external vendors to ensure work is allocated effectively based on capacity and priority
  • Communication and Branding – owns APAC L&D communication and branding strategy
  • Processes – owns core L&D process and quality valuations for APAC including but not limited to onboarding, coaching and classroom/out-of-classroom learning modalities. Passions and Skills essential in this role: This person will need to be: A strong natural collaborator – this person will need to collaborate with several different types of vendors and internal partners to ensure L&D is being delivered effectively at scale
  • Analytical – this person will interpret, use, sort and manage data to drive decision making
  • Organized and structured – this person has the ability and the passion to create and streamline processes and organize resources in a logical way
  • This person will help drive operational rigor and optimization across the team without increasing bureaucracy
  • Excellent communication skills – this person will be the key link with many different partners both internally and with vendors
  • Good influencing skills – this person will not have any direct reports however will need to influence a range of teams and stakeholders
  • Strong project management background – this person will need to have some internal or external consulting experience with personal experience of understanding and translating requirements into clear, defined and trackable actions

     

Minimum Qualification

 

  • 10+ years in Learning & Development/HR/HR Ops preferably in analytics and program management roles
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Information Technology
  • Personal experience in managing HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) required
  • Experience in Technology industry or any startup organization is required
  • As this role will need to communicate/collaborate with our global colleagues, evening and the occasional late night calls will be required

     

Preferred Qualification

 

  • General post-graduate degree
  • Basic coding (any language).
